Aerial Yoga Workshops with Lindsay Nova

Foundations Flow
In this workshop you will take the yoga poses you know and love and bring them to a beautiful flow on the aerial hammock. The silk hammock will help take your yoga practice to new heights by performing supported postures both in the air and on the ground. Deepen your flexibility, become stronger, and improve your alignment as you breathe deep and fly high in this flow-based aerial class. Find grace and ease in your body as you add the ultimate creative expression of the silk fabric. Learn the foundations of the Rising Wings Aerial Yoga curriculum created by Lindsay Nova. All levels welcome.

Splits & Tricks Workshop
This workshop is for experienced aerial yoga practitioners or aerialists who want to increase their flexibility and learn how to use it in the air. A warmup using active flexibility techniques will target the muscles needed for inversions and splits. Then we will discover new pathways in the aerial hammock with a focus on inverting and sequences completely off the ground. The postures will be more athletic, with one movement flowing to the next at a faster pace. Learn fun new aerial yoga shapes, including how to spread the fabric out like a sail, wings, and skirt in hanging, supported, and inverted positions. Must be able to invert comfortably in the air.

Low & Slow
Wind down from your week with a delicious and soft aerial yoga practice in the support of the silk hammock low to the ground. Allow yourself to feel effortless in this restorative aerial yoga class that will leave you feeling relaxed and renewed. Every part of the body will get a little extra attention here from the lower back to the hips and shoulders in gentle, easy postures that are held for longer periods of time along with the sway of the hammock. All levels welcome.

About Lindsay Nova

Lindsay Nova is a traveling yoga teacher and aerialist and the creator of Rising Wings Aerial Yoga originally from Tampa, FL. After teaching for a decade in the US, Lindsay has spent the last 7 years traveling the world teaching and sharing her methodology. She believes in empowering people to live their dreams and passions. Lindsay discovered yoga and aerial as a teenager when she was studying contemporary dance and her teaching reflects her lifelong studies of these arts. She has created her programs to combine the beauty and grace of breath and movement through vinyasa and aerial yoga as a method for healing and overcoming limiting beliefs.
